Paragon is a notable SCPF. Paragon was created by former Pathos' developers following it's shutdown and was initially endorsed by Daxrentha, the Administrator and Owner of Pathos.

Paragon's main game is Paragon Research Institute.

Overseer Council

List: List of Overseer Councillors
The Overseer Council (also referred to as the council and O5 Council) is the second-most powerful authority. It has the power to make decisions collectively regarding almost anything and can only be overruled by The Administrator. With complete access to all information, the council oversees all Foundation operations and directs its long-term strategic plans.

Site Director

The position of Site Director is split into the Site Director and the Manufacturing Site Director

The Manufacturing Site Director is the director of the group's Manufacturing Department - the department responsible for development. They are appointed by the founders.

Security Class 4

List: List of Departments

Security Class 4s are directors of departments. They are each responsible for running their own department.

Security Class 3

Security Class 3 is position held by those who are second in command of a department, directly subordinate to a director/security class 4.

Security Class 2

Security Class 2 is the entry rank for command positions. This position is granted by attaining a command position in a department, usually at least three ranks above the entry rank.

Security Class 1

Security Class 1 is a foundation personnel position below Security Class 2 but above Security Class 1. This position is granted by attaining a rank above the entry rank in any department.

Security Class 0

Security Class 0 is the rank you get after completing the quiz in the Application Center. It allows you to join departments.

Class-E

Class-E is a rank for foundation personnel currently suspended from their duties.

Class-D

Class-D is the lowest and base rank. Those in this rank are test subjects.

Departments

Paragon is comprised of multiple departments. See List of Departments.

Controversies

Paragon has had multiple notable controversies, as well as several cybersecurity incidents.

D-Day

On 14 October 2022, following discontent with the other founders, TheeDeer (who was a founder of paragon), suddenly decided to hold the group to ransom and banned the other founders with no apparent demands. On the same day, TheeDeer gave ownership of the group to userWuzz and left the group. He ended up taking all of the group's funds.

A day later, Daxrentha's SCPF announced it's re-opening, leading some to believe that the events orchestrated by TheeDeer may have been supported/co-orchestrated by Daxrentha's SCPF.

The day has been called D-Day (or Deer-Day), coined by AIfre_d.

On the 30th of July 2023, Paragon's main bot Terminal was compromised by an unknown user[1]. Whilst the damage was very minor, several users were banned from the Discord server randomly.

After the incident on the 10th of October 2023, it is assumed that disgruntled Manufacturing Site Director darkhxppy was behind this attack.

2023-10-07

Days prior, on the 4th of October 2023, Paragon documents hosted on Google Drive were noticed to be inaccessible, with a statement being released[2] acknowledging the situation.

On the listed date, Paragon Founder WafflesDerp took to a Stage Channel in the main Discord to discuss the ongoing situation[citation needed]. The remarks he made were extensive, but covered the main points of:

1. Terminal (Paragon's Discord Bot) was NOT compromised, contrary to public belief,

2. The documents would be restored within 24 hours,

3. Other founder, slxir had accused WafflesDerp of being the perpetrator of the incident, and had transferred the main group's ownership and funds from the holder account to his own account to ensure it was secure.

Towards the end of the Stage session, Founder slxir joined the stage and confronted WafflesDerp. The stage was promptly closed by a member of the Community Moderation Team, who told them to resolve the argument in private.

On this date, Paragon players attempting to connect to the game through the Server Browser noticed defacement to the feature that allowed the player to see who was in the server[3]. This defacement varied, including simple vulgar language toward specific members of Paragon[4], homophobic and racist slurs, and general tampering. This also involved several groups and notable figures within the genre 'taking responsibility'.

The game was promptly taken down whilst the issues were investigated and rectified. Around an hour later, community members began to notice that the Manufacturing Site Director at the time, darkhxppy had left the Discord. This caused community members to become increasingly suspicious, although many waved it off that he was taking a break.

Shortly after, notable figures of authority, such as developers and group leadership confirmed[5] that darkhxppy was responsible for the cyberattack involving the group's API.

Up to now, no public statement has been released, although it can be expected as user data may have been potentially compromised.
