Area-108 is the main game of Rovairo's SCPF which was originally released in 2015.
Sectors
The site is divided into different sectors which contain different SCPs (except Sector 1B) with most dangerous SCPs being contained in Sector 4 while the less dangerous ones are kept in Sector 2.
Sector 1
Sector 1 contains all civilian department spawns together with SD and a breach shelter. It is also the sector that contains gates A and B. The only SCP contained within this sector (1A) is SCP-173-J. Furthermore, it is split up into Sector 1A and 1B.
Sector 2
Sector 2 contains the Class-D Containment (CDC) along with multiple SCPs such as SCP-173 and SCP-914. Sector 2 also contains the control room, server room, a breach shelter and the entrance to Sector X.
Sector 3
Sector 3 contains more dangerous SCPs such as SCP-966 and SCP-049. Additionally, there are two entrances to this sector from Sector-2, those being the main Sector-3 entrance and the Sector-3R entrance.
Sector 4
Sector 4 contains the most dangerous SCPs such as SCP-352 and SCP-058. Furthermore, Sector 4 contains the entrance to the Alpha Warhead which has the ability to destroy the site.
Replacement attempts
There have been two notable attempts at replacing Area-108 which are listed below.
Compound:86
Compound:86 (C:86) was a site which was meant to replace Area-108 as the main game, turning Area-108 into an RP site. The game was developed between the years of 2018-2020. Around 2019 the site was made available to the public as early access for a price of 400 robux. The last official announcements regarding Compound:86 was made on the 31st May 2020 by Eltork, announcing the change of the project name[1]. As of early 2024, the access gamepass has been taken off-sale.
Antillia
Antillia was another attempt at replacing Area-108 developed between the years of 2021-2024, with the first official discord announcement being made by Eltork on the 22nd January 2021[2]. The name Antillia refers to a phantom island the existence of which came from an old Iberian legend, hinting at the possibility that the site will be located on an island. The project was officially cancelled on the 7th of August 2024 by Rovairo citing reasons such as being "full of confusion and inconsistency" and "Multiple versions—from Volumes’ cave theme to Miatas’ island and Solotov’s island maps—have failed to meet our expectations."[3]. At the end of the announcement a new project was mentioned however no details or names were presented.[3]
