October 2024 O5-X Election (CreepySins)

The October 2024 O5-X Election was an election to determine the new holder of the Office of the Head O5 Councillor in CreepySins' SCPF. Only members of the O5 Council may run for the office, and only council members may vote for a candidate. Previous office holder Astravae has won the election, and secured the office until February 2025.
History
The October 2024 election is unique as it has granted Astravae his fifth term as O5 Head, which was unseen until then. Under the campaign "Four More Years" they have advertised themselves and used their plans to obtain advantage. Four More Years served as a joke campaign that relates to the US Presidential Elections, that happened a short time after the O5 Head election. The upcoming Class-E Reform and the establishment of the Administrative Department shortly before the election may have helped in achieving victory. This is also the first election to have a proper campaign phase, as well as published vote counts and candidates. Votes and candidates were not disclosed in the past, as only the winner was announced.
The campaign phase of this election has featured a statement of interest by O5-9, then Robin_Nox, which serves as the first election program in the foundation. It furthermore featured a public election debate with the candidates, which have publicly discussed their intentions and plans. The public campaign may have served as pressure tool against the voting councilors, as potential public outrage may convince the voting councillors to vote in ones favour. The campaign was welcomed in public circles, as it aided in the roleplay factor.
