The Genre Accountability Coalition (GAC) was a coalition of various SCPFs and GoIs that emerged in response to the Aurentha controversy. Its primary goal was to bring attention to questionable actions by individuals and groups without imposing undue authority over other SCPFs. Previous attempts at unity, such as SCP Verses, had faltered due to their pursuit of authoritative roles within the genre. GAC was responsible for the genre blacklist of Aurentha, TheeDeer, and the Thunder Scientific Corporation.[1] They also planned to blacklist SCI - Pathos III, but the coalition shut down beforehand.[2]

GAC quickly started to degrade as many smaller SCPFs saw their alliance as an opportunity to grow their group. After the Aurentha drama, many SCPFs enabled rank transfers from Pathos to their group, trying to recruit players leaving Pathos due to the drama. From then on, some of the SCPFs attempted to push a genre blacklist on Pathos for any (even small) breach in contract, to try to get more rank transfers. On 24 March 2024, cubvul and xol2creamy leaked Internal Security Service information in the attempt to "defame" Pathos. Many groups began to end their alliance with GAC and GAC shutdown on 9 April 2024 due to a 6-0 internal vote. However, this was not announced until 5 May 2024 and the server was deleted on 12 May 2024.[3]
